Job summary

Driver Hire Halifax is seeking reliable HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers for Bradford and Halifax sites. You will perform trunk runs, RDC deliveries and trailer swaps, with flexible shift patterns and ongoing work.

Newly qualified drivers welcome; preference given to those with 2 years' experience. Competitive pay and weekly pay, with potential for permanent appointment.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence and Driver CPC.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• 2 years' Class 1 experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of UK road networks.
• Strong timekeeping and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle safely and efficiently.
• Complete deliveries and collections on time.
• Ensure accurate paperwork and transport documentation.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects.

About the Role

We are seeking reliable and professional HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Drivers for a leading haulage, distribution, and logistics operation based in Bradford and Halifax. Drivers will be completing trunk runs, RDC deliveries, trailer swaps, and general haulage work depending on the route and shift pattern.

Newly passed Class 1 drivers are welcome to apply, although preference will be given to drivers with 2 years' experience.
