Job summary

Pertemps Lincoln is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers to join the DHL contract in Scunthorpe. The role is trunking only with no handball or unloading, enabling you to focus on driving.

Shifts are Thursday to Sunday with flexible start times. Competitive hourly rates on weekdays and weekends, plus overtime, and weekly pay. Suitable for drivers in Scunthorpe and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Requires valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Driver CPC card and digital tachograph card required.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points; no DR10/CD10/IN10 endorsements.
• Good understanding of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Trunking deliveries across the UK.
• No handball, multidrop or manual unloading.
• Concentrate on driving with a modern fleet and well-maintained vehicles.

Pertemps are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join the established DHL contract based in Scunthorpe, delivering essential perishable goods to destinations across the UK.

This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers looking for consistent work in a straightforward driving role. The position involves trunking only, with no handball, multidrop or manual unloading required, allowing you to concentrate on what you do best - driving.

What will I be paid?

Weekdays, £16.48ph overtime paid at £21.92 after 42 hours.
Weekends, £18.54ph
