Job summary

Sure Call Recruitment & AFE Recruitment is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver for tramp/tipper work in the UK. The role focuses on safe, timely deliveries across multiple sites, with emphasis on professional communication and strict safety standards.

You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, adhere to driving regulations, and contribute to a skilled driving team. A temp-to-perm path may be available after about three months.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) license with a clean record (≤6 points).
• MPQC qualification is required.
• Tipper experience is essential; quarry experience preferred; willing to undertake tramping work.

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV Class 1 vehicles to various locations as required.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure roadworthiness and compliance.
• Maintain high standards of safety, professionalism and customer service.
• Opportunity for permanent status after roughly 3 months (temp-to-perm).
