Job summary

Romac Logistics in Newton Aycliffe is seeking a full-time HGV Class 1 Driver. You will complete 2-4 store deliveries per shift, load and unload at customer premises using an electric pump truck, and maintain strict safety standards while on the road.

You must hold a UK Class 1 (C+E) licence, Driver CPC and Tachograph card, and have a solid understanding of drivers hours and WTD. We offer a competitive daily salary, full training, pension, and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Good understanding of drivers hours and working time directive (WTD).
• Strong work ethic and reliable timekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Complete 2-4 store deliveries per shift.
• Load and unload at customer locations using an electric pump truck (PPT).
• Carry out some handball when moving pallets.
• Maintain safe driving practices and complete all paperwork accurately.
• Deliver excellent customer service at each site.
