Job summary

Romac Logistics, based in Wednesbury, is seeking a HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team. The role involves completing 2-4 store deliveries per shift, loading and unloading at customer sites with an electric pump truck, and ensuring safe driving practices with accurate paperwork.

You will deliver excellent customer service, work a 5 on/2 off pattern with weekend shifts, and have access to full training, a supportive team, and a pension and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Good understanding of driver hours and Working Time Directive (WTD).
• Strong work ethic and reliable timekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Complete 2-4 store deliveries per shift.
• Load and unload at customer locations using an electric pump truck (PPT).
• Carry out some handball when moving pallets.
• Maintain safe driving practices and complete all paperwork accurately.
• Deliver excellent customer service at each site.
