Job summary

Pure Staff’s Driving Team are recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to support a Birmingham-based customer. Immediate starts and steady work with block bookings are available for those seeking ongoing, temp-to-perm roles in a temperature-controlled logistics business, operating across the UK and internationally.

Shifts run Monday to Sunday, typically starting around 14:00 and lasting about 12 hours. Rates vary by day and include holiday pay options; drivers are paid via Direct PAYE with

Qualifications

• UK Category C+E Licence is required.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Valid Driver CPC Card.
• Minimum 12 months HGV Class 1 driving experience.
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• Professional, reliable and safety-conscious attitude.
• Good understanding of driver hours and tachograph regulations.

Responsibilities

• Complete trunking runs between Regional Distribution Centres using refrigerated trailers.
• Transport chilled and frozen products maintaining temperature-controlled standards.
• Adhere to driving hours, tachograph regulations and vehicle safety checks.
