Job description

Job Title: HGV 1 Driver

We are seeking an experienced HGV 1 driver to deliver exceptional service to our clients and customers. Candidates should have no serious offences and be capable of working independently and as part of a team. This position is initially temporary with the potential to become permanent after 12 weeks, during which you will work through our agency.

Shifts

Day shifts with occasional nights out. Flexibility is preferred.

Pay Rates

• Basic pay: GBP 875.00 for 65 hours
• Overtime: GBP 17.50 per hour
• Second job: GBP 20.00
• Daily meal allowance: GBP 10.00
• Night out: GBP 27 (3 nights out guaranteed)
• Saturday job: GBP 190.00
• Sunday/Bank Holiday job: GBP 275.00
• Sunday run out: GBP 150.00
• ADR job: GBP 25.00

Role Requirements

1. Minimum of 6 months of HGV 1 driving experience in the UK
2. Valid UK Driving Licence with C+E category, CPC Qualification Card, Tachograph Card
3. Ability to operate HGV 1 vehicles safely on scheduled routes
4. Intermediate English speaking and understanding skills
5. Ability to complete vehicle checks and report defects
6. Maintain high levels of customer service
7. Port cards are preferred
8. Willingness to do some nights out
