Alloga is seeking a professional Class 1 HGV Driver/Shunter to join our Derby distribution centre. You will deliver goods safely, perform on-site shunting, and maintain strict compliance with transport regulations.

Weekdays with start times between 12:00 and 16:00, Monday to Friday, 48 hours per week. You'll hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence, Driver CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card, with solid knowledge of hours regulations and a safety-first approach.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence and Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Strong knowledge of driver hours regulations and transport legislation.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Safety-first approach with commitment to compliance.

Responsabilités

• Deliver goods safely, efficiently and on time while providing customer service.
• Carry out on-site shunting duties to support distribution centre operations.
• Maintain regular communication with Transport Office and report delays promptly.
• Complete transport documentation including proof of delivery and returns.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and ensure roadworthiness and cleanliness.
• Ensure loads are secured and transported in line with regulations and policy.
• Adhere to road traffic laws and company policies; report incidents or issues.
• Maintain high safety, compliance and professionalism standards at all times.
