Job summary

Corus Consultancy Limited is seeking reliable HGV Class 1 drivers to join our logistics partner on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for safe deliveries and collections, maintaining vehicles and paperwork.

You will work within site procedures and ensure loads are secure and paperwork is accurate. You must hold a HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence, Driver CPC, and a digital tachograph card, with a solid understanding of drivers’ hours.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card.
• Good understanding of road safety and drivers' hours.
• Reliable, punctual and flexible approach.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete deliveries and collections safely and on time.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Ensure loads are secure before travelling.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately.
• Follow drivers' hours, tachograph rules and site procedures.
• Provide a professional service to customers and site teams.
