Job summary

EVO Group in Lutterworth is seeking a HGV Class C+E Driver to join our logistics team. You will contribute to timely deliveries and efficient collections across the UK, maintaining safety and high customer service standards.

Responsibilities include pre/post-journey checks, loading/unloading, on-time departures with proper documentation, and using MHE when trained. A strong focus on safety, punctuality and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• A valid C+E Category Licence.
• Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph experience.
• Proven experience driving HGV vehicles.
• Strong customer service mindset with a polite, professional approach.
• Commitment to safety, punctuality, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily pre- and post-journey vehicle checks to ensure safety and compliance.
• Load and unload vehicles as required; secure goods.
• Depart on time with documents, equipment and fuel cards.
• Deliver and collect goods safely, efficiently, and courteously at customer sites.
• Use MHE when trained and required.
• Maintain a professional and customer-focused attitude at all times.
• Record delivery/collection details using handheld devices (HHT).
• Return vehicles clean, refueled, and in good working order.
• Adhere to road traffic laws, drivers' hours regulations, and company policies.
• Wear the correct uniform and PPE at all times.
