Skipper Recruit Ltd. is seeking an experienced Class 1 (C+E) Driver for a new general haulage contract based in Derby. You will carry out general haulage deliveries, perform routine vehicle checks and ensure loads are secured and documented properly.

The role requires a valid UK Class 1 licence, a tachograph card, and knowledge of drivers’ hours. Ongoing work with opportunities for variety across days, nights, and tramping shifts is offered.

Formación

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) driving licence.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and road safety regulations.
• Reliable, punctual and professional attitude.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out general haulage deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Complete vehicle checks before and after shifts.
• Ensure loads are secured correctly and transported safely.
• Complete delivery paperwork and relevant vehicle documentation.
• Maintain high standards of driving, safety and customer service.
• Comply with all road transport regulations and working time requirements.
