Job summary

Pure Staff Ltd is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers in Bilston for a leading UK food manufacturer and distributor. Shifts run Thursday/Friday to Monday/Tuesday, with 1–3 RDC deliveries per shift and day starts from 04:00 to 16:00, averaging around 10 hours.

Ideal candidates have UK Category C+E, tachograph and CPC cards, 12+ months of Class 1 experience, and up to 6 points. Night shifts offer higher rates; traditional PAYE with transparent pay and regular weekly wages.

Qualifications

• UK Category C+E Licence
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Valid Driver CPC Card
• Minimum 12 months HGV Class 1 driving experience
• No more than 6 penalty points
• Professional, reliable and safety-conscious attitude

Responsibilities

• Deliver RDC shipments or collections using refrigerated trailers.
• Work 1–3 RDC runs per shift with day starts between 04:00 and 16:00.
• Maintain accurate scheduling and comply with Driver Hours regulations.
• Support regular weekday pattern with occasional nights when required.
