Job summary

The Best Connection is hiring a Class 1 HGV Driver (C+E) based in Wednesbury. Shifts available during days and nights with varied start times, delivering bread to regional distribution centres across the UK.

Role requires a valid Class 1 licence, CPC and Digi Tacho, plus at least 2 years of driving experience and a solid understanding of driver hours and WTD. Regular weekly pay and ongoing work with potential for temp-to-perm are offered.

Qualifications

• Requires valid Class 1 (C+E) licence and CPC & Digi Tacho.
• Minimum 2 years driving experience preferred.
• Good understanding of driver hours and working time directive (WTD).

Responsibilities

• Deliver bread products to RDCs across the UK.
• Handle cages during handball tasks.
• Ensure timely and safe deliveries and complete vehicle checks.
