Job summary

Andrews Recruitment Group Limitted is recruiting two HGV Class 1 Drivers for a permanent role in Norwich, Norfolk. You will deliver ready-mix concrete to construction sites across the region, working with the transport team to meet schedules and ensure safety and compliance.

The role suits experienced drivers seeking local deliveries, independent work, and direct customer interaction on-site. Previous concrete mixer experience is a plus but not essential, with full training provided.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 licence (C+E) is required.
• Driver CPC/DQC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ready-mix concrete safely to commercial and residential sites.
• Operate heavy goods vehicles in accordance with road transport regulations.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Follow delivery schedules and instructions from the transport team.
• Communicate with customers and site personnel during deliveries.
• Ensure loads are transported safely and legally.
• Complete delivery paperwork and record load details.
