Andrews Recruitment Group is seeking two HGV Class 1 Drivers for a permanent role in Norwich, delivering ready-mix concrete across Norfolk. This opportunity suits drivers who enjoy local deliveries, independence, and direct customer interaction on construction sites.

You will ensure safe, efficient deliveries, adhere to road transport regulations, perform vehicle checks, and maintain professional site communications.

Qualificações

• Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC / DQC qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous professional HGV driving experience.
• Knowledge of drivers' hours and road transport rules.
• Strong vehicle and site safety awareness.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle daily responsibilities.
• Willingness to work overtime and out-of-hours.
• Desirable: ready-mix concrete driving experience.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver ready-mix concrete to sites safely.
• Operate heavy goods vehicles per regs.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Follow delivery schedules from transport team.
• Communicate with customers and site staff during deliveries.
• Ensure loads are transported safely and legally.
• Complete delivery paperwork and record load details.
• Follow site safety procedures.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and presentation.
• Work with Transport Manager and teams.
• Represent the business professionally at sites.
• Support overtime and out-of-hours when needed.
