Job summary

Culina in Widnes is seeking a Full-Time Class 1 Ports Driver to operate container movements across the UK, including loading/unloading at customer sites. The role requires adherence to driver hours and tachograph regulations, with shifts including days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays.

Applicants should hold a C+E licence with a preference for 6 months HGV Class 1 experience, no more than 6 points, DCPC & Tachograph cards, and compliance with on-site safety requirements.

Job Description

The current opportunity is a container operation and will involve moving containers throughout the UK. It will also include loading and unloading at our customer sites and some manual handling maybe required.

Shifts:

• Monday-Friday Days - £14.60 per hour
• Monday-Friday Nights - £15.80 per hour.
• Saturday and Sunday Day - £17.60 per hour
• Saturday and Sunday Night - £18.10 per hour.
• Bank Holidays - £18.41 per hour.

Additional Information

• You should hold a valid C+E Licence and ideally have a minimum of 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience (We will consider New Pass Drivers)
• No more than 6 points and no DD/ DR Code convictions.
• Hold a current valid DCPC & Tacho cards.
• Understand and able to comply with Driver’s hours and WTD legislation.
• Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly.
• Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements.
