Job summary

Culina is recruiting permanent HGV Class 1 drivers to join our Cannock site supporting General Haulage across the region, delivering to stores and RDCs with a focus on safety and customer service. Role requires completing vehicle checks, following driver hours, and reporting defects.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid C+E licence with licence valid in the UK.
• Minimum 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience; New Pass drivers considered.
• No more than 6 points; no DD/DR convictions.
• DCPC and Tachograph cards held.

Responsibilities

• Supporting General work, including occasional store deliveries and loading/unloading cages.
• Completing vehicle checks and documentation.
• Maintaining safety, compliance, and professionalism.
• Working with transport team to ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere to Driver's hours, WTD, and tachograph legislation.
• Understand and report defects.
• On-site health and safety compliance.
• Excellent communication skills.
