Job summary

Culina Group Limited in Westerleigh (Bristol) is hiring professional HGV Class 1 drivers for night shifts, Monday to Friday. You’ll support meat processing and packaging operations, delivering to key retail customers across the UK with a focus on safety, accuracy and customer service.

The role offers full-time stability; drivers should have a C+E licence, valid DCPC and tachocard, up to 6 points, and understanding of drivers hours regulations. Training and rewards are provided.

Qualifications

• C+E licence holder with clean driving record.
• DCPC and tachograph cards valid and up to date.
• Understand hours and WTD legislation and vehicle safety checks.
• Excellent communication skills and customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver to RDCs, farms and packhouse across the UK.
• Complete paperwork thoroughly and accurately.
• Operate safely in line with HSE, transport rules and tachograph regulations.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and temperature monitoring.
• Aim for fuel efficiency and on-time deliveries.

We’re looking for professional HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our Culina Chilled & Fresh team in Westerleigh - Bristol, supporting our Meat Processing and packaging operation and delivering to key retail customers across the UK.

This is a permanent role offering full-time stability for HGV Class 1 drivers who will be responsible for RDC, Farms and Packhouse deliveries. This role is ideal for a HGV driver who takes pride in safe driving, excellent customer service and dependable delivery standards. You’ll be joining a supportive transport team where safe driving, reliable service and high professional standards are valued every day.

Shift Patterns-

• Monday to Friday 18:00 Starts

Salary- From £13.43 - £22.83 per hour depending on shift times.

• Ensure correct and thorough completion of paperwork
• Observe and adhere to company rules and procedures, including all aspects of health, safety and hygiene
• Maintain a good working knowledge of operations within the transport department
• Effectively manage own working time in line with the Road Transport Directive
• Adhere to tachograph rules and regulations at all times
• Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed in line with company procedure
• Responsible for unit and trailer, including temperature checks
• Ensure proof of deliveries (PODs) are signed and returned to the Transport Office after delivery
• Achieve and succeed fuel efficiency targets set by the business
• Any other duties as reasonably required

Qualifications

• You should hold a valid C+E Licence
• Previous Class 1 Driving Experience is advantageous however we will consider New Pass Drivers
• No more than 6 points and no DD/ DR Code convictions.
• Hold a current valid DCPC & Tacho cards.
• Understand and able to comply with Driver’s hours and WTD legislation.
• Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly.
• Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements.
• Excellent communication skills.
