Job summary

Lineage Logistics is seeking a HGV Class 1 Driver at the Hams Hall depot in the UK. The role runs Monday to Friday nights. You will perform safety checks, load and secure goods, and complete trunking and multi‑drop deliveries while keeping customers informed and compliant with regulations.

You will hold a C+E licence with DigiTacho and CPC, with 18kg lifting capability and strong English communication. Competitive pay includes a weekly shift allowance and overtime.

• Previous Class 1 driving experience is essential.
• Ability to lift up to 18kg.

Responsibilities

• Ensure vehicle is roadworthy with daily checks and report defects.

• Carry out trunking and multi‑drop deliveries compliant with law.
• Obtain customer signatures and paperwork on completion.

To support customer demand, we are currently seeking a HGV Class 1 Driver at our Hams Hall depot.**Shift Available:** HGV Class 1 Driver: Monday - Friday Nights**Rate of pay:** £16.54 per hour, plus a shift allowance of £55.00 per week, paid weekly.Overtime rate after 39 hours worked each week is paid at time and a half.**Duties and Responsibilities*** Ensure the vehicle is legal and roadworthy at all times - all daily checks are completed, and any vehicle defects are reported* Ensure the correct goods have been loaded and are secure before moving the vehicle* Carry out trunking and multi-drop deliveries in a timely manner and in accordance with the law (including drivers working time regulations)* Double check deliveries with the customer whilst providing a polite and helpful experience.
