Job summary

S J Bargh Ltd in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking an HGV Class 1 Driver (Nights) to join our established, family-owned logistics business. You will collect milk from farmers, deliver to dairies or unload into trailers, on a 5/2, 5/3 rota with weekend and holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• Valid C+E licence and up-to-date DCPC.
• Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; high cleanliness standard.

• Work on a 5/2, 5/3 rota including weekends and bank holidays.

S J Bargh is a leader in specialised logistics to the milk industry, general haulage, palletised distribution network, Scania Parts Dealership and third-party HGV vehicle repairs and management to customers throughout the UK.

Here at S J Bargh, we have an opportunity for aHGV Class 1 Driver (Nights)to join the team based inStoke-on-Trent.

You will be collecting milk from farmers premises and delivering to dairies or unloading into trailers. Work is on a rota pattern and involves weekends, bank holidays and Christmas if scheduled on shift.

5/2, 5/3 rota

Rates of Pay:

• Basic rates of pay per shift from £177.63 - £216.94
• Annual basic salary £45,410
• Additional hours paid based on weekly cumulative hours met

What skills & qualifications do you need?

• Hold a valid licence Category C+E
• Have a relevant up to date DCPC qualification
• Be able to work alone and as part of a team
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrate a high standard of cleanliness
• Be responsible for ensuring all your daily duties linked to legal compliance and legislation are strictly adhered to
