Job summary

A leading driving recruitment agency is seeking a skilled HGV Class 1 Driver for night shifts in Birmingham. Job description

To support customer demand, we are currently seeking a HGV Class 1 Driver at our Hams Hall depot.

Shift Available: HGV Class 1 Driver: Sunday - Thursday Nights.

Rate of pay: £15.90 per hour, plus a weekly night shift allowance of £55.00.

Overtime paid at time and a half for all hours worked over 39 hours each week.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure the vehicle is legal and roadworthy at all times - all daily checks are completed, and any vehicle defects are reported.

• Ensure the correct goods have been loaded and are secure before moving the vehicle.

• Carry out trunking and multi-drop deliveries in a timely manner and in accordance with the law (including drivers working time regulations).

• Double check deliveries with the customer whilst providing a polite and helpful experience. Obtain relevant signatures and paperwork before returning to your home depot.

What are we looking for?

• Someone with a C+E driving licence, a valid in date DigiTacho and CPC.

• Previous Class 1 driving experience.

• Someone who can lift up to 18kg.

• You to be able to communicate clearly with other team members in English.
