Newly Passed Drivers Welcome - Full Paid Training Provided

Staffline is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers in Newton Abbot, Devon. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing operation with excellent facilities and long-term work available.

PAYE Pay Rates:

Day Shifts (Start between 4am - 6am)
Monday to Friday: £13.36 per hour
Overtime (after 50 hours)/Saturdays: £16.03 per hour
Sundays & Bank Holidays: £20.04 per hour

Night Shifts (Start from 3pm)
Monday to Friday: £14.57 per hour
Overtime (after 50 hours)/Saturdays: £17.47 per hour
Sundays & Bank Holidays: £21.48 per hour
Disturbance Allowance (where applicable): £42.20 per night

All shifts are a minimum of 8 hours.

Your Time at Work
As an HGV Class 1 Driver at this site, your responsibilities will include:
Delivering to stores across Devon, Cornwall, Dorset and surrounding areas
Handling roll cages - drop tail lift only, no manual unloading from cages
Strict delivery times and curfews for stores
Working with frozen and fresh food stock
Trunking from RDCs such as Avonmouth and Magor to Newton Abbot depot
Day shifts typically include 10-12 drops followed by reloading for an additional 2-3 drops

We have a variety of roles available, including:
Full-Time Day Drivers
Ad-Hoc Class 1 Drivers
Night Drivers for Saturday-Wednesday pattern (Start at 3pm or 6pm) - 3-month requirement

Our Perfect Worker
We welcome both experienced drivers and newly qualified Class 1 Drivers.
You will ideally have:
A full UK LGV C+E (Class 1) licence
Digi Tacho and DCPC
No more than 6 penalty points
A good attitude and reliability

New Passes Welcome - Happy to train up!
