Job summary

Driver Hire Great Yarmouth & Lowestoft is recruiting Class 1 HGV drivers specializing in live bird transportation. You will be responsible for the safe, compliant, and efficient transport of live birds while upholding animal welfare and biosecurity.

Successful candidates will hold a full UK HGV Class 1 licence with preferred live bird transport certification and experience, and must comply with hours regulations. Weekly pay, holiday and pension offered.

• Live Bird Transportation Certificate – preferred but training would be considered
• Minimum 12 months’ Class 1 experience preferred

Pay: £183.51 per day + enhanced overtime rates

The Role

Driver Hire Great Yarmouth & Lowestoft is recruiting Class 1 HGV Driversspecialising in live bird transportation.

You’ll be responsible for safe, compliant, and efficient transportation of live birds while maintaining the highest standards of animal welfare and biosecurity.

Requirements

• Full UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• Live Bird Transportation Certificate – preferred but training would be considered
• Minimum 12 months’ Class 1 experience preferred
• Maximum 6 points (no CD, IN, DD or DR endorsements)
• Strong knowledge of Driving Hours Regulations & WTR
