Job summary

Culina, the UK’s leading independent specialist supply chain partner, is recruiting permanent HGV Class 1 drivers to join our depot in the Transport Logistics division. You will support General Haulage and Trunking operations, delivering to distribution centres and stores with a focus on safety and customer service.

We offer various shift patterns (days 04:00–07:00, nights 16:00–19:00, 5 days from 7) and enhanced pay rates plus meal and night-out allowances.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid C+E licence and have a minimum of 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience (New Pass Drivers considered).
• DCPC and Tachograph cards must be current.
• Understand Driver’s hours and WTD legislation.
• Excellent communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• General Haulage with Curtainside trailers to Distribution Centres and Stores.
• Collections from Stores to load out to Distribution Centres.
• Support General work, including occasional store deliveries and loading/unloading cages.
• Trunking opportunities available depending on availability.
• Complete vehicle checks and documentation.
• Maintain high standards of safety, compliance and professionalism.
• Work closely with transport team for smooth operations.
• Adhere to Driver’s hours, WTD and tachograph legislation.
