Wright Staff Recruitment Ltd is recruiting professional HGV Class 1 drivers for roles in Tewkesbury. Both ad hoc/part-time and ongoing full-time (3-5 shifts) work are available, with day, night and weekend shifts optional.

Positions offer a variety of client sites, weekly pay and flexible scheduling to suit your availability. Successful candidates will have a valid HGV Class 1 licence, CPC and tachograph card, and a good understanding of drivers’ hours regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Full Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points (no TT99, DR, DD, or IN).
• A good understanding of drivers’ hours regulations.
• Reliability and flexibility to accept short-notice shifts.
• Min 3 months HGV driving experience.

Responsabilités

• 1–4 drops per shift and scheduled deliveries.
• Operating vehicles safely and within legal compliance.
• Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting defects.
• Maintaining accurate paperwork and delivery logs.
• Representing the company and clients professionally.
