Job summary

HG Recruitment is seeking reliable HGV Class 1 drivers for Thurrock with ongoing shifts and competitive pay. You will handle store deliveries with 2–4 drops per shift, starting between 07:00 and 17:00, and using tail lift for loading/unloading. Regular weekly pay and flexible shifts are offered.

Eligible drivers hold a UK HGV Class 1 licence (minimum 6 months), Driver CPC, and a Digital Tachograph Card. Points limited to 6, and full-time hours with 9.6 paid hours per shift are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid UK HGV Class 1 licence with minimum 6 months experience.
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card required.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• Knowledge of drivers’ hours and Working Time rules.

Responsibilities

• Store deliveries.
• Approximately 2–4 drops per shift/10 hour shifts.
• Start times between 07:00 and 17:00.
• Loading and unloading cages using tail lift.
• Ongoing work with 9.6 hours paid per shift.
