Job summary

Stobart is recruiting permanent HGV Class 1 drivers to join the Tesco Distribution Centre in Doncaster for general haulage. You will handle store deliveries and RDC runs across the region, with a focus on safe driving and dependable delivery standards.

Shifts include Days and Nights, typically starting between 02:00 and 07:00 for days and 13:00–23:00 for nights. We offer flexible patterns to suit availability and preferences.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 licence (C+E) required or in progress.
• Ideally 6+ months experience; new passes considered.
• No more than 6 points; DCPC and Tachograph cards held.

Responsibilities

• General Haulage with curtainside trailers to Distribution Centres and Stores.
• Support general work including occasional store deliveries and load/unload of cages.
• Manual handling, drops/swaps and trunking as required.
• Complete vehicle checks and keep proper documentation.
• Maintain high safety, compliance and professionalism; work with transport team.
