Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Burton upon Trent is seeking a Class 1 Driver to join our busy transport team. You will handle trunking runs, operate curtain-sided trailers and perform daily vehicle checks while following health and safety procedures.

This permanent, full-time role is 48 hours per week with Sunday to Thursday shifts starting 21:00–23:00. Overtime is regularly available, and you will benefit from DHL's generous pension, employee discounts, and 24/7 GP support.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence, Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Experience operating curtain-sided trailers and EPT tipping (desirable).
• Ability to work independently with strong safety and compliance focus.

Responsibilities

• Complete trunking runs between sites and distribution points.
• Carry out drop-and-swap trailer movements and occasional EPT tipping.
• Drive safely with full compliance to Drivers' Hours and WTD.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly.
