Job Description:

We’re looking for

a full-time, permanent Class 1 HGV driver to join us at our site in Sheffield.

You’ll be working Monday to Friday day shift. You’ll be working on our contract with a leading steel supplier, delivering steel products to end-user locations. We’ll provide you with all the training that you’ll need to move and handle the various types of loads involved.

Pay, benefits and more:

In return for your hard work, we are offering an hourly rate of £15.18. We offer 20 days of holiday, access to a variety of high street discounts, as well as a cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension, and ongoing CPC training and study through the XPO University.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• You are delivering Steel products to customer sites
• You will be trained in chaining and strapping loads
• You will drive in a safe manner in line with company expectations

What you need to succeed at XPO:

• Full UK driving licence (with C&E entitlement)
• No more than six points on your licence (as well as no DD, DR, or IN endorsements)
• In date and current CPC
