Culina Contract Logistics is seeking an HGV Class 1 Driver for day shifts across the UK. Start times range from 4am to 7am, with 4 on 4 off patterns and permanent full-time opportunities. You will deliver to customer premises and regional distribution centres, maintaining safety and accuracy in all deliveries.

Requirements include a valid C+E license, UK Driver CPC and Tachograph cards, and experience with Driver Hours and tachograph rules. Full on-site training and benefits apply.

Formación

• Valid C+E License.
• Minimum 6 months’ HGV Class 1 driving experience preferred.
• No more than 6 points on your license and no DD or DR convictions.
• Current UK Driver CPC qualification card and Digital Tachograph cards.
• Good understanding of Driver’s Hours and Working Time Directive legislation.
• Ability to complete vehicle checks and report defects correctly.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out safe, professional deliveries to customer premises.
• Complete general haulage deliveries to Regional Distribution Centres, most deliveries as backdoor tip.
• Support occasional driver tipping or multi-drop deliveries depending on customer demand.
• Occasional Night out may be required.
• Report delays, delivery issues or load discrepancies promptly to Transport team.
• Complete all paperwork accurately and ensure PODs are signed and returned.

Job Description

HGV Class 1 Driver- Days| Permanent Full-Time Opportunities

Start Times: 4am - 7am

Available Shift Patterns:

• 4 on 4 off shifts.

Pay Rates

• £16.16 per hour (£15.16 per hour basic rate + £1 per hour allowance Hourly rate.

What You'll Be Doing

• Carry out safe, professional deliveries to customer premises.
• Complete general haulage deliveries to Regional Distribution Centres, with most deliveries completed as backdoor tip.
• Support occasional driver tipping or multi-drop deliveries depending on customer demand.
• Occasional Night out may be required
• Report to the Transport team at the start of each shift and communicate any delays, delivery issues or load discrepancies promptly.
• Complete all paperwork accurately and ensure PODs are signed and returned to the Transport Office.
• Follow company rules and procedures, including health, safety and hygiene standards.
• Manage your working time in line with the Road Transport Directive and adhere to tachograph rules and regulations.
• Complete daily vehicle checks in line with company procedure and report defects correctly.
• Taking responsibility for the unit and trailer, including temperature checks where required.
• Maintaining a high standard of behaviour, appearance and customer service at all times.

Qualifications

• Valid C+E License.
• Minimum 6 months’ HGV Class 1 driving experience preferred;
• No more than 6 points on your license and no DD or DR code convictions.
• Current valid UK Driver CPC qualification card and Digital Tachograph cards.
• Good understanding of Driver’s Hours and Working Time Directive legislation.
• Ability to complete vehicle checks and report defects correctly.
• Commitment to on-site health and safety requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional approach.
