About the role:

You will operate a fleet of modern Volvo trucks, equipped with high-spec features like fridges and leather seats for comfort. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, with 9-hour shifts starting around 7/8 am, and predictable routes to reduce stress. There is job security within a growing global business, with opportunities for additional hours at enhanced rates during bank holidays and night shifts. You will join a friendly, supportive team that shares traffic updates via WhatsApp.

Key Role Responsibilities

• Plan routes independently, with 4 to 6 stops per shift, and be home at the end of each shift.
• Ensure timely delivery and collection of cages, pallets, freight, stillages, and Yorks.
• Inspect your vehicle daily, complete defect reports if needed.
• Maintain high standards of customer service, communicate effectively, and escalate queries appropriately.

Candidate Requirements:

• Class 1 Driving licence
• Driver CPC qualification card
• Completed or working towards DCPC training hours
• Strong knowledge of Road Transport Laws and safety commitment
• Positive, proactive attitude
