Job summary

Tall Grass Recruitment is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers for general haulage out of Liverpool, offering day driving and tramping positions. Curtain-sided trailers, UK deliveries, and a focus on safety and reliable service. We pay £19.00 per hour with a £25 night-out allowance for tramping, weekly pay, and regular Monday-Friday work with consistent assignments. Modern, well-maintained vehicles.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Minimum 8 months' Class 1 driving experience.
• General haulage experience preferred.
• Willingness to stay out overnight for tramping positions.

Responsibilities

• General haulage using curtain-sided trailers.
• Deliveries and collections throughout the UK.
• Safe loading and securing of goods.
• Completing delivery paperwork and daily vehicle checks.
• Complying with drivers' hours and tachograph regulations.
• Maintaining high standards of safety and customer service.
