Job summary

SourceCo Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a leading logistics operation in Measham and are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join their team. We have opportunities across day and night shifts with regular ongoing work and competitive pay rates.

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for safe and efficient delivery and collection of goods, completing deliveries, carrying out vehicle checks, and ensuring paperwork is accurate.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience.
• Strong understanding of drivers' hours and road transport regulations.
• Professional attitude and good communication skills.
• Reliability and a commitment to safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Driving an HGV Class 1 vehicle safely and professionally.
• Completing deliveries and collections as required.
• Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
• Ensuring all paperwork and delivery documentation is completed accurately.
• Adhering to drivers' hours, working time regulations and road safety requirements.
• Providing a professional and reliable service to customers.
