Job summary

We Are Workforce Ltd in Amesbury, Wiltshire, is recruiting an HGV Class 1 Driver for ad-hoc, flexible shifts at our busy chilled distribution site. Immediate starts available after assessment and induction, with competitive rates for day and night work.

This role features refrigerated multi-drop deliveries and trunking, with weekend availability and options to tailor shifts around your schedule. Candidates should have 6 months' HGV Class 1 experience, CPC and Tachograph card, and a clean licence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' HGV Class 1 driving experience.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 points on your licence.
• Reliable, organised, and professional attitude.
• Willingness to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Refrigerated store deliveries and trunking work.
• Vehicle checks and defect reporting.
• Compliance with Drivers' Hours, WTD and EU Regulations.
• Vehicle preparation and refuelling.
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely, on time, and in full.
• Maintaining excellent customer service standards.

HGV Class 1 Driver – Amesbury

Ad-Hoc Work Available – Immediate Starts

Are you an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver looking to earn extra money around your existing commitments? We are currently recruiting drivers for ad-hoc work at our busy chilled distribution site in Amesbury, Wiltshire.

This role involves a mixture of refrigerated multi-drop deliveries and trunking work, offering flexible shifts and competitive rates of pay.

Shift Availability

• Weekend work available
• Choose your days of work
• AM and PM starts available
• Flexible work to fit around your schedule

Pay Rates

Days

• Monday – Friday: £17.30 per hour
• Overtime after 47.5 hours: £19.46 per hour
• Saturday: £19.46 per hour
• Sunday & Bank Holidays: £25.95 per hour

Nights

• Monday – Friday: £19.77 per hour
• Overtime after 47.5 hours: £21.92 per hour
• Saturday: £21.92 per hour
• Sunday & Bank Holidays: £28.41 per hour

Only 30 minutes break deducted per shift

What We're Looking For
