Job summary

HG Recruitment Solutions is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for ASDA Distribution Centre in Bedford (MK43 9AB). Role involves supermarket deliveries, trunking, and weekend shifts with regular ongoing work.

Pay is competitive with premium rates on nights and bank holidays; weekly pay is provided based on 55 hours. Training and support available through HG Recruitment’s Driver Portal and development programs.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid UK HGV Class 1 licence and Driver CPC.
• Digital Tachograph card and CPC qualification required.
• Weekend availability is essential.
• Good knowledge of Driver Hours and Working Time regulations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver supermarket orders across the region.
• Handle ambient and chilled products.
• Class 1 trunking and store deliveries with trailer bay unloading.
• Regular Class 2 deliveries to smaller stores; cage deliveries and collections.
