Working on an Ad Hoc – Temporary basis at our Culina Tilbury depot.

Our customer is one of the biggest names within the HGV industry, with the latest vehicles on the market, providing the best HGV experience and top-range vehicles.

***12 Months Of HGV Class 1 Driving Experience Required***

Location: Tilbury, RM18 7EH

Working Hours:

• Ad Hoc – Temporary Shifts Available

Pay Rate:

• Saturday Days and Nights: £23.53 P/hr Including Holiday Pay
• Sunday Days and Nights: £24.65 P/hr Including Holiday Pay

About this role:

• Refrigerated work – Transporting goods that need to be kept in a chilled trailer at a specific temperature. Full training will be provided for operating chilled vehicles.
• Trunking – Driving on regular routes, including long-haul transportation between distribution hubs.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting defects or maintenance needs to ensure roadworthiness.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, logbooks, and other paperwork in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Follow all safety protocols, including PPE use and health and safety regulations.

About You:

• Hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence with at least 12 months of HGV Class 1 driving experience.
• No more than 6 points and no DD/DR Code convictions.
• Current valid DCPC & Tacho cards.
• Understand and comply with Driver’s hours and WTD legislation.
• Able to carry out vehicle checks and report defects.
• Comply with on-site health and safety requirements.
