HGV Class 1 Drivers Wanted In TEESPORT!

Logistics People are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers/HGV Drivers/LGV Class 1 Drivers/LGV Drivers/Class 1 Drivers working on an Ad Hoc – Temporary basis at our Eddie Stobart Teesport depot.

Our customer is a major name in the HGV industry, equipped with the latest vehicles, providing the best HGV experience.

***6 Months Of HGV Class 1 Driving Experience Required***

Location: Teesport, TS6 6UD

Working Hours:

• Ad Hoc – Temporary Shifts Available

Pay Rate:

Competitive hourly rates

About this role:

• Ambient work – Driving ambient products that do not require temperature checks.
• Trunking – Regular routes, including long-haul transportation between distribution hubs.
• Store Delivery – Transporting goods from location to stores.
• General haulage – Moving various goods between locations.
• Manual handling – Physically lifting, carrying, and moving goods during loading and unloading.
• Conduct vehicle inspections before and after trips, reporting defects.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, logbooks, and paperwork in compliance with policies and legal requirements.
• Follow safety protocols, use PPE, and adhere to health and safety regulations.

About You:

• Valid HGV 1/C+E Licence with at least 6 months of experience.
• No more than 6 points on your license; no DD/DR convictions.
• Current valid DCPC & Tacho cards.
• Understanding of Driver’s hours and WTD legislation.
• Able to perform vehicle checks and report defects.
• Comply with on-site health and safety requirements.
