Job summary

AMA Admin is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers to work on a Royal Mail contract in Skelmersdale. This is a 24-hour operation with a variety of shifts including day, night, Saturday and Sunday.

You will perform traction and shunting work, move trailers and cages between Royal Mail sites, and complete vehicle and compliance checks via the relevant apps. A valid HGV Class 1 license, Driver CPC and tachograph card are required.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous Class 1 experience.

Responsibilities

• Completing traction and shunting work for Royal Mail contract.
• Moving trailers and cages around designated sites.
• Carrying out vehicle and compliance checks using apps.
• Following site procedures and transport regulations.
• Working as part of a 24-hour operation.
