• PAY: GBP16.00 PAYE or GBP21.29 including holiday pay

Rapid Time Recruit Limited, acting as an Employment Business, is currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 drivers operating walking floor on behalf of our client in Widnes. This is on an ongoing basis, Monday to Friday, with available weekends.

Role of a Class 1 C+E Driver:

• Walking floor trailers, both manual and automatic, delivering woodchip to power stations.
• Start times NIGHTS: 16:00pm - 18:00pm
• Start times DAYS: 04:00am - 06:00am
• Various shifts available: Mon-Fri, Tue-Sat, Sun-Thur
• Average 12 - 13-hour shifts

Class 1 C+E HGV drivers will require:

• Valid UK HGV licence (C+E) for 1 year or more.
• Minimum 6 months of previous HGV driving experience.
• Previous walking floor experience is preferred but not essential.
• Digital tachograph card and CPC card.
• Professional and presentable demeanor.
• Flexible approach to work and changing circumstances.
• Must not hold more than 6 points on your license.
• No IN10, DR10, DG10, CD10, or TT99 endorsements.

PAYE rates are:

• DAYS: GBP14.75 Plus holiday accrual or GBP16.53 Including holiday accrual
• NIGHTS: GBP16.00 Plus holiday accrual or GBP17.93 Including holiday accrual
• SAT: GBP17.50 Plus holiday accrual or GBP19.61 Including holiday accrual
• SUN: GBP19.00 Plus holiday accrual or GBP21.29 Including holiday accrual
• Minimum 8 hours paid
