Job summary

We Are Workforce Ltd seeks experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our Raunds depot in Wellingborough. This is an ongoing full-time role with regular trunking and deliveries to NDCs/RDCs, offering immediate starts after assessment and an opportunity for ongoing temporary work.

You will operate a modern fleet, adhere to WTD and drivers’ hours regulations, and maintain high standards of safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' Class 1 driving experience.
• Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points for minor offences.
• Good communication skills.
• Reliable and professional attitude.
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Trunking and RDC/NDC deliveries.
• Vehicle checks and defect reporting.
• Vehicle preparation and refuelling.
• Compliance with WTD and EU Drivers' Hours regulations.
• Safe and efficient operation of company vehicles.
• Maintaining high customer service standards.
• Ensuring deliveries are completed on time and in full.

HGV Class 1 Driver – Raunds (Wellingborough)

Ongoing Full-Time Temporary Opportunities Available

We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our busy depot in Raunds, Wellingborough. This role primarily involves trunking and deliveries to NDCs and RDCs, offering regular work, competitive pay rates, and immediate starts for successful candidates.

Join a well-established and internationally recognised dairy logistics operation with a modern, well-maintained fleet.

Shift Patterns Available

Tuesday – Saturday – 01:00 start
Tuesday – Saturday – 12:00 start
Monday – Friday – 12:45 start

Pay Rates

Days

• Monday – Friday: £17.30 per hour
• Overtime after 47.5 hours: £19.46 per hour
• Saturday: £19.46 per hour
• Sunday & Bank Holidays: £25.95 per hour

Nights

• Monday – Friday: £19.77 per hour
• Overtime after 47.5 hours: £21.92 per hour
• Saturday: £21.92 per hour
• Sunday & Bank Holidays: £28.41 per hour

Only 30 minutes break deducted per shift
