Mobile People Powered Logistics is a multi-award winning road transport company based in Birmingham. The company is one of the largest Network Distribution businesses in the Midlands and has continued to grow year on year even during the current crisis.
We are seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team at Mobile People Powered Logistics in Birmingham, West Midlands, United Kingdom. As a vital member of the logistics and transport industry, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely transportation of goods throughout the region.
Start time 15:00 - approx finish time 02:00.
- Drive HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently
- Transport goods to various locations throughout the region
- Adhere to all relevant regulations and legislation
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections
- Ensure the vehicle is kept in good condition and report any defects
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
- HGV Class 1 licence
- CPC qualification
- Tacho card
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of road safety regulations
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- 28 days paid holiday incl. Statutory Days
- 50 hrs basic including breaks then overtime rate applies
- Guaranteed minimum of pay of 46.25 hours per week
- Full uniform provided after probation period
