Job summary

YellowStone Environmental Solutions is expanding and seeking experienced, safety-driven Class 1 Drivers for our nationwide team. Based from Shaftesbury, you’ll travel across the UK delivering hazardous and non-hazardous waste with a focus on safety and customer service. The role requires at least 12 months of HGV Class 1 experience, a valid HGV(C) licence, CPC, and Tachograph card.

ADR is desirable. We offer a permanent, full-time position with 48 hours plus overtime and a competitive salary

Qualifications

• At least 12 months' experience driving HGV Class 1 vehicles.
• Valid HGV (C) licence, CPC card, and Digital Tachograph card.
• ADR licence is desirable but not essential.
• Experience operating road tankers and vacuum tankers is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and safely.

Responsibilities

• Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles and vacuum tankers on assigned routes.
• Support loaders when the vehicle is stationary.
• Plan routes and manage time-critical schedules.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Maintain compliance with safety rules and driving hours.
• Deliver excellent customer service on every job.

What You'll Be Doing

As a YellowStone Driver, you'll play a key role in our national operation, travelling across the UK to collect and deliver hazardous and non hazardous waste. Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating HGV Class 1 vehicles and vacuum tankers
• Supporting loaders when the vehicle is stationary
• Planning your own routes and managing time critical schedules
• Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
• Staying compliant with safety regulations and legal driving hours
• Providing excellent customer service on every job

Qualifications

What You'll Bring

You're not just a driver — you're a professional who takes pride in doing things right. We're looking for:

• At least 12 months' experience driving HGV Class 1 vehicles
• A valid HGV (C) licence, CPC card, Digital Tachograph card
