HGV Class 1 Driver

We are seeking a Class 1 HGV Driver to deliver and collect powered access machines on a low loader vehicle.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to join the UK market leader in powered access, with full training provided.

As an HGV Class 1 driver, we require candidates to have the correct licences, hold a CPC card, enjoy interacting with people daily, possess excellent customer service skills, and understand the importance of health and safety within an organization.

Responsibilities include:

• Loading and unloading machines in accordance with company policies, using appropriate equipment
• Ensuring the security of loads during transport and delivery
• Handover of machines to customers and familiarization with machine operation
• Performing daily checks on vehicle and equipment
• Complying with legislation regarding vehicle safety, tachographs, and working hours
• Relaying customer queries to depot staff as needed
• Representing the company professionally, providing high standards of customer care
• Completing all relevant paperwork accurately

About you:

• Holds a valid HGV Class 1 license and a full CPC card
• Experience with driving low loader vehicles, delivering plant, or recovering vehicles is preferred, but full training can be provided
• Understanding of customer service importance, as you will demonstrate equipment to customers
• Knowledge of HGV vehicle safety and maintenance
