HGV Class 1 Driver wanted – £16.00 per hour – ongoing work

Your role as an HGV Class 1 Driver

• Efficient & safe deliveries: ensure timely, accurate deliveries while adhering to safety regulations.
• Communication: keep in regular contact with the depot and clients to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

• A minimum of 6 months experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver.
• Full in-date CPC, tachograph card, and driving licence.
• Must have held a HGV Class 1 Driver licence for at least 12 months.
• A positive attitude, flexibility, and confidence on the road.
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence.
• Knowledgeable of driving hours and tachograph rules and regulations.
• Willing to complete an on-site induction prior to January.
• Happy for long hours.
• Flexibility to drive Class 2 vehicles as well is preferred.
• £16.00 per hour (Monday to Friday) + holiday entitlement.
• Ongoing role: secure long-term employment after a successful probationary period.
• Free parking at the depot.
• 10 – 12 hour shifts typically.
• 3-5 shifts per week with an opportunity for ongoing work.
• Occasional weekend shifts available for those interested in extra hours.
