Job Opportunity: HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C+E)

The Recruitment Crowd is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-known, industry-leading client based in Rotherham. We are seeking multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C+E) to join our team.

Details:

• Hours: Shifts across a 24-hour operation, Monday to Sunday, with flexible start windows. Average shift length: 10 hours.
• Pay Rates: Two options available:

- PAYE: £150 per day midweek, £170 per day on weekends

- Rolled-up: £168 per day midweek, £190 per day on weekends

• Location: Rotherham, S66
• Job Type: Ongoing, with potential for permanent employment for suitable candidates

The Role:

• Part of a 24/7 operation, trunking trailers for major parcel companies.
• Covering routes mainly from the Northwest to Nuneaton/Rugby, Dundee, etc.
• Flexible start times, predominantly from 18:00 onwards.
• Average 10-hour shifts.
• Maintain professionalism and excellent customer service during interactions.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and guidelines.

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E).
• Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• At least 12 months of Class 1 driving experience.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points (minor offences only).
• Ability to work independently on long-haul routes.
• Reliable, professional, committed to safety.
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Excellent communication skills.
