Job summary

Top Tier Recruitment LTD is seeking HGV Class 1 drivers for ongoing shifts in Warrington, WA3 6PH. You will transport commercial freight across the UK, performing scheduled collections and deliveries between customer sites and distribution centres.

Night driving and tramping opportunities are available with start times from 16:00 to 21:00; shifts are around 10 hours. Requires HGV Class 1 / C+E, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card to join a reliable, professional team.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 / C+E Licence is required.
• Driver CPC qualification is required.
• Digital Tachograph Card holder preferred.
• Class 1 driving experience is essential.
• Reliable & professional with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Transporting commercial freight across the UK between customer sites and distribution centres.
• Operate Curtain-sided trailers and handle loading/unloading.
• Carry out scheduled collections and deliveries within standard routes.
• Some handballing and night driving may be required.
• Refer to night-out opportunities and longer trips as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and tachograph rules.

UP TO £250 PER DAY

£190 per day

Enhanced rates up to £250 per day

£25 Night Out Allowance

Start Times: 16:00-21:00

Shifts: Approx. 10 hours

Contract: Ongoing

THE ROLE

Class 1 General Haulage

Transporting commercial freight across the UK, carrying out scheduled collections and deliveries between customer sites and distribution centres.

Work may include:

• Curtain-sided trailers


• Retail & commercial freight


• Cage deliveries


• Loading & unloading


• Some handballing


• Night driving and tramping opportunities available.

WHAT YOU NEED
