Job summary

A leading company in distribution is seeking a Class 1 Driver to join their team in a friendly and inclusive environment. The role involves ensuring the delivery of fresh and frozen products to various locations while maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency. Candidates must have a valid C+E licence and CPC qualification to be considered. There are also opportunities for overtime and full training support is provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid C+E Licence with experience preferred in driving a Class 1 vehicle.
• All applicants must be CPC qualified.
• No serious endorsements on driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe delivery of stock to cash and carry stores.
• Complete all paperwork after deliveries.
• Maintain vehicle condition throughout shifts.

Job description

We have a fantastic opportunity to join ourDistribution Centre as a Class 1 Driver. Our Regional Distribution centres supply our 198 cash and carry sites with all their products including Fresh, Frozen and Ambient stock.

Overtime opportunities also available

Fully funded CPC training hours provided

Please note that all candidates will have to undertake a drug and alcohol test as part of the pre-employment tests.

Working autonomously as well as part of the wider transport team

You must hold a valid C+E Licence with experienced preferred driving a class 1 vehicle but not essential

All applicants must be CPC qualified to be considered for this role

Applicants will not be considered if they have more than 6 points on their licence,'Careless Driving', prosecution for mobile phone use or drink driving or have failed to comply with 'Construction of Use'.
