Job description

Menzies Distribution is looking for experienced HGV/LGV Class 1 Drivers to join our team in Carrington. You will be responsible for delivering and collecting products on behalf of Menzies Distribution Solutions Limited and its customers, providing a first-class service.

The Details:

• Location: Carrington
• Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday Nights
• Start & Finish Times: 16:00/19:00 - 04:00/07:00
• Monthly Pay
• Onsite Parking

HGV Class 1 Driver Duties:

• Driving duties, observing current legal and best practice standards, delivering and collecting to/from customer premises or other locations.
• Delivering products on behalf of our clients and their customers.
• Using electronic POD and up-to-date technology (full training provided).
• Assisting with loading and unloading.

HGV Class 1 Driver Requirements:

• A full UK C+E licence.
• At least 12 months of previous class 1 driving experience.
• Excellent driving skills.
• No more than 6 points on your licence.
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and WTD regulations.
