Job summary

Grafters Recruit Ltd are currently looking for HGV / Class 1 / CE Drivers to work out of our clients premises in Derby on an ongoing / permanent basis with immediate starts available.

In this role you will be responsible for trunk runs, driving a double decker HGV, and ensuring all paperwork and logs are completed accurately. Full UK driving licence, CE licence (1 year min), and Digi and CPC cards are required.

Qualifications

• CE licence with a minimum of 1 year experience.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• No more than 6 points.
• Digi and CPC Card.

Responsibilities

• Driving a double decker heavy goods vehicle.
• Completing trunk runs only, depot to depot.
• Ensuring all paperwork and logs are completed accurately.
• Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any defects.

For this HGV / Class 1 / LGV1 / C+E Driver role, you will be responsible for:

• Driving a double decker heavy goods vehicle.

• Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any defects.

For this HGV / Class 1 / LGV1 / C+E Driver role, you will need:

• Competitive hourly rate - £14.01PH - £35.03PH including paid breaks
• Days and nights available with a 5 on 3 off shift pattern
• Positive and friendly environment including free on-site parking.
• Minimum 8hrs guaranteed per shift, even if you do less.

• Brand new equipment, including new Mercedes trucks.
