Job summary

Grafters Recruit Ltd is seeking HGV / Class 1 drivers for shifts out of Derby. You will operate a double decker truck on trunk routes, complete all required paperwork, and perform vehicle checks. A full UK licence, CE with at least 1 year experience, and DIGI/CPC are required, with up to six points allowed.

Shifts include days and nights with a guaranteed minimum hours and on-site parking. Brand new equipment and friendly team create a supportive environment for ongoing work.

Qualifications

• CE licence with at least 1 year experience.
• Full UK driving licence held with no more than six points.
• DIGI and CPC card holders preferred.
• Valid licence and medical fitness as required.

Responsibilities

• Drive a double decker heavy goods vehicle on trunk runs only.
• Complete depot-to-depot deliveries and ensure accurate paperwork.
• Conduct pre/post-shift vehicle checks and report defects.
• Maintain logs and comply with legal road transport rules.

HGV / Class 1 Drivers

Grafters Recruit are currently looking for HGV / Class 1 / CE Drivers to work out of our clients premises in Derby on an ongoing / permanent basis with immediate starts available.

For this HGV / Class 1 / LGV1 / C+E Driver role, you will be responsible for:

• Driving a double decker heavy goods vehicle.
• Completing trunk runs only, depot to depot.
• Ensuring all paperwork and logs are completed accurately.
• Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any defects.

For this HGV / Class 1 / LGV1 / C+E Driver role, you will need:

• CE licence with a minimum of 1 year experience.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• No more than 6 points.
• DIGI and CPC Card.

• Competitive hourly rate - £14.01PH - £35.03PH including paid breaks
• Days and nights available with a 5 on 3 off shift pattern
